With the announcement of the appointment of Kristin Schuster, CCM is thrilled to welcome to its roster, pianist Igor Levit and conductor Antonello Manacorda, who will both be represented in worldwide general management by Kristin Schuster with immediate effect.
Apart from continuing the growth of CCM’s existing roster of artists such as Iveta Apkalna, Gábor Boldoczki Diana Damrau, László Fenyö, Philippe Herreweghe, Krzysztof Penderecki and Nicolas Testé, the company will extend its international touring activities, especially in Asia.
Winfried Roch, managing director of CCM, commented:
“I admire Kristin’s brilliant work. From the first moment I met her I knew that her passion, creativity and enthusiasm match perfectly the philosophy of CCM and its individual way working for artists. As CCM continues to grow and expand its artist roster we are very glad that Kristin will act as Director of Artist Management. Her wide range and outstanding management skills and knowledge combined with her enthusiasm will help leading the artists to a bright future and exploring new ways.”
Kristin Schuster commented: “CCM offers the rare combination of a top tier global touring network and a flexible boutique agency approach. CCM fully caters to the needs of artists performing internationally, all the while supporting the efforts put into developing artists’ careers long-term. More, Winfried’s and his team’s ability to think outside of the box, their commitment to bringing a project to the next level and their willingness to go the extra mile for their clients align with what I’ve always strived to provide for the artists I have the continued privilege to working with and the ones I look forward to welcoming to the CCM roster on this day and in the future.”
Since its founding in 1993, by Winfried Roch, CCM has focused its activities on providing bespoke services and growth strategies for artists, ensembles and orchestras on a global basis. The flexibility and scope to tailor services to the individual needs of clients is one of the key elements of CCM and one that is becoming more and more important in our fast changing world.
Developments in the past have included the expansion of worldwide touring activities, apart from Europe, especially concert touring activities in South America and in Asia combined with the opening of the Beijing-office alongside existing offices in Germany. The upcoming tours in Asia in the season 2018/19 include major orchestras such as the Orchestra dell´Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under the baton of Sir Antonio Pappano featuring the soloists Daniil Trifonov and Seong-Jin Cho as well as the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski and violinist Julia Fischer.
