Our artist Iveta Apkalna takes centre stage in the new documentary film The Organ at Night, which offers an unusually personal glimpse into the life of a world-class musician. Beyond the sold-out concert halls and international acclaim, the film reveals the other side of an extraordinary career.

The director and camera crew followed Iveta over several months, capturing moments that normally remain hidden: the silence before the storm when she sits alone at the instrument late at night, the concentration in empty rehearsal rooms, the contemplative moments between performances. What emerges is a multifaceted portrait of an artist who is musician, mother, and Latvian.
